OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Vacancy: Automotive Components Manufacturing JV Co.

JCI Executive Search International's client, a growing AUTOMOTIVE parts/components manufacturing Joint-Venture company, is currently seeking for the following position:

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Based in Jabotabek, Indonesia

This position is a senior management position and reports directly to the President Director and is responsible for Production, Engineering and QA and basically covers all manufacturing operations. Initially, the person will come in under Engineering and understudy the Director's position and take it up at the beginning of next year. We would prefer a local Indonesian candidate who can join soonest.

Anyone below the age of 40 is unlikely to have the required experience for this position. He should be very well-versed in Manufacturing operations, gained preferably from the automotive industry. Hands on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Engineering and QA are pre-requisites. He should have high people skills as well as technical knowledge. Having worked in a foreign JV within a multi-cultural environment would be added assets as well as having cost cutting skills & experience.
