Global Maritime is a leading consultant for offshore engineering design and marine operation services on a world-wide basis. The Group has been consistently engaged on major marine offshore projects for over 28 years. Our Regional office in Jakarta is inviting dynamic individuals for the following challenging position.
NAVAL ARCHITECT
The Naval Architect will:
Assist the Engineering Leader by leading the supervision and management of the engineering activities performed for the offshore project in relation to the naval architecture discipline in order to assure technical integrity, quality, constructability, maintainability and performance operability of the project.
Qualification/Experience:
- 2 years experience as naval architect in offshore projects
- Degree in related engineering knowledge
- Knowledge of class regulations
- Fluent in English
- Skilled in hydrodynamics, design of ship shaped vessels, structural analysis, mooring analysis and etc
- Familiar with Class expectations/activities with regard to offshore/marine structures
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical information and drawings
- Wiling to be assigned to site (onshore/offshore)
- Preferable have experiences on field work
- A creative, enquiring and logical mind
- The position is based in BSD City (Serpong – Tangerang Selatan)
- The Naval Architect reports to the Engineering Leader
Software Capabilities:
- MOSES – Floating body motions based on Diffraction theory
- ORCAFLEX – Floating body motion and mooring analysis software
- STAAD PRO / FEMAP / ANSYS – Structural & Finite Element Analysis software
- AutoCAD – Drawing software
