Preferred Qualifications
The role of the Associate Instructor is to contribute to the profitability of Education Services by conducting regular and professional presentation of publicly scheduled and specially modified courses, as well as offering a high level of education consultancy or on-site education as necessary, whilst assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Education Centre. The role will be a largely classroom role with an expected minimum teaching and quality rate. This is primarily but not exclusively a training role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct training in Oracle Database / Languages curriculum - SQL/Java.
Deliver quality training consistent with course objectives and structure
Able to deliver specific tailored courses to customers as required.
Collect information about the audiences learning needs, analyse course materials and make appropriate modifications to meet these needs.
Monitor and track audience responses using available course evaluation tools and use the output to modify course materials and enhance delivery.
Work as part of the regional Education Team to build up the reputation and effectiveness of the Education Centre
Provide Education Pre-sales service to Customers where appropriate
Promote ever increasing list of Oracle Education Products and Service through everyday communication with customers base
Engage with customers on a consultative basis to raise profile of Oracle University.
Support the regional Delivery Manager in local Operational responsibilities
EXPERIENCE:
Experience and knowledge in Oracle Database/SQL/ PL/SQL/ Java & MS Office software are highly desirable
Effective presentation, delivery techniques and classroom management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working in a team environment
Working experience in Training Center is desirable
