Currently our client an EPC company in Oil and Gas industry in Jakarta requires position as below:
· Welding Engineer or QA/QC Engineer/Inspector
- Minimum experience of 10 years in development of WPS/PQR, welder's qualification test, qualified to interpret all types of NDEs (at least Level 2) for both Structure and Piping
- Vast experience and very keen in interpreting drawings, welding and NDT maps, specifications and Codes and Standards (particularly AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.8)
- Experienced in both structural and piping works plus blasting and painting
- Experienced in welding of cladded piping
- Familiar with all the requirements of Codes/Standards in terms of inspection, welding and repairs and hydrotesting
- Experienced in inspection and witnessing of WPS/PQR/Welders Qualification with MIGAS
- Experienced in organizing red-line mark-ups and/or as-built drawings and documents in the form of MDB
- Should have Quality Assurance experience such as audit, etc.
- Preferably local and have an experience in welding of cladded piping
Responsibilities:
--> Fully responsible for the QA/QC works on fabrication, assembly, blasting and painting, inspection, NDT, hydrotesting, weighing, loadout and sea fastening works
--> Witness and coordinate the material preparation works and dimensional
--> Witness all inspection works and interpreting NDT results/records
--> Witness, monitor and control the welding qualification of WPS/PQR and welders test
--> Witness, monitor and control the mechanical test (lab test) of the test specimen
--> Witness and monitor the blasting and painting activities in terms of qualification of procedure and painters, and actual production work
--> Review and check subcontractors QA/QC documents such as procedures, welding and NDT maps, cutting plans, etc.
--> Coordinate and supervise Subcontractor's/Fabricator's QC team for the production of as-builts and red line mark-ups
--> Coordinate and supervise Subcontractor/Fabricator for the development of MDB
--> Reports to Fabrication Site (Manager or Superintendent or Supervisor) and to Fabrication Package Manager
