PT Paras Megah Utama, a fast growing Services Company for Oil and Gas industry giving the opportunity for the qualified candidates to fill our vacant positions with qualification as follows:

Head Of Construction

Education : University degree or equivalent in engineering; project management qualifications highly desirable
Experience :

·     Minimum 20 years experience in Oil & Gas facility engineering / design / construction roles, including at least 8 years in offshore FPSO and/or LNG plant construction management

·     Experienced in construction planning in FEED and construction management in fabrication and construction/installation in offshore facilities

·     Experienced in construction of FPSO across multiple, international work sites

·     Experienced in working in major exploration & production companies or EPC contractors

·     Superior project management, planning and budgeting skills

·     Knowledge of industry standards and codes (quality, safety and others) applicable to offshore construction and FPSO vessels

·     Familiar with project safety management

·     Leading and motivating multi-national engineers and project support staffs, with experience in supervising and training national workforce

Basic Job Requirements :

Plan, review and coordinate FLNG construction across the various work sites to support achievement of project targets on time, on budget, and within set targets for quality & safety

1. FLNG Construction

ü Provide comprehensive and professional input while overseeing FEED Contractors to prepare the FLNG construction plan, schedule, budget, and risks; submit to FLNG Project Manager for approval

ü Lead installation studies for large and small structures and equipments and recommend the most suitable installation method to ensure safe execution

ü Ensure that all relevant logistics are factored into the plan, for example early provision of infrastructure, temporary camps, transportation and handling of large equipment; and that responsibilities are assigned, either to FEED Contractors or within Client

ü Coordinate construction activities including local content assessment

2.  Technical Assurance and Integrity

ü Ensure that structural interfaces between Hull and SURF are properly identified

ü Provide constructability input in the design, covering a large variety of disciplines

ü Create inspection strategy for FLNG construction

ü With the QA/QC team, coordinate on-site inspections

ü Develop Client requirement/specification for FLNG construction

ü Ensure that FLNG construction meet Client and industry quality standards as well as regulatory requirements

3. Contractor Management

ü Participate in technical evaluation of FEED proposals

ü Ensure that FEED Contractors provide proper progress reporting and complete documentation for construction

ü Ensure that FEED Contractors make correct interpretations of project requirements

ü Present technical recommendation for FLNG design to FLNG Project Manager from constructability points of view

ü Identify scope and develop specifications for EPC phase for construction

ü Participate in technical evaluation of FEED deliverables

ü Participate in evaluation of EPC proposals

4. Planning, Cost and Risk Management

ü Create and monitor work plan, schedule, and budget

ü Anticipate delays / budget overruns; inform these to FLNG Project　Manager; recommend appropriate solutions and ensure that action items are closed off

ü Participate in Risk Assessment processes

5. Construction HSE

ü Ensure that FEED Contractors and subcontractors meet Client and industry HSE standards as well as regulatory requirements

6. Reporting and Documents

ü Prepare regular and ad-hoc progress reports

ü Ensure proper and complete documentation for FLNG construction

7. Development and Leadership

ü Ensure behaviors, performance, and resourcing of Construction team support Masela's goals and company policy

ü Participate in business planning, budgeting, systems integration, peer reviews, and other initiatives as required

ü Encourage continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

ü Mentor and appraise staff in Construction team

ü Delegate authority within Construction team as deemed necessary

Any other activities as requested to support Client success

Other :

·      Reporting to FLNG Project Manager, and liaising closely with Head of Project Coordination in project coordination team, Head of Topside Engineering in topside engineering team and Head of Hull Engineering in hull engineering team

·      Head of Construction manages construction team which includes 2 subordinates of Sr. Hull Construction & Transportation Engineer and Sr. Installation & Hookup Engineer during FEED

·      Command of the English language written and spoken

.   Ability to mentor and develop less senior personnel especially Indonesian nationals
