CARE in Tangerang Vacancy : Manual Kader TB - Consultant (MKTB)


CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and micro-credit.

 

CARE in Tangerang Office is currently recruiting the following positions for its  project:

 

MANUAL KADER TB CONSULTANT (MKTB)

 

Job Summary:

 

The consultant will be responsible to develop Manual Kader TB in close coordination with Sub Direktorat TB Ministry of Health. The Manual will become a tool or guideline of National TB Program and other organizations that have TB Program and involve community as a TB Cadre.

 

 

Area of Responsibility

 

·         Documenting important information regarding to experience, target audients related to their role, basic competence and role of TB Cadre   from community, PHC, DHO, PHO  as actor of TB control activities (specially TB Cadre)

·         Develop final Manual, Buku Saku dan dan buku lapangan Kader TB (both content and layout)

·         Facilitate 2 Manual Development workshops and providing technical assistance to overall workshop activity.

 

Through the above actions, the consultant will:

1.   Identify lessons learned from implemented project and to be share to other parties

2.   Analyze modules/materials training from other organizations that have TB Program to put in the manual.

 

 

Manual Development Period and Location:


The manual development will take place at Banten Province and Jakarta. The consultant will be expected to be finishing the final draft of the manuals in 30 days, which is including field visit, meeting, workshop and manual writing.

 

 

Deliverables:

The outcome of the consultancy periods will be final and presentation of the Manual, Buku Saku dan dan buku lapangan Kader TB.

 

 

Matching Indicators:

 

·         Bachelor degree with extensive experience in working with community and manual writing, Master degree will be advantageous

·         Familiarity with health/environmental health, especially in infectious disease – promoting, education and community engagement programming

·         Experience in develop curriculum and module for training

·         An expert in communication to elaborate all the inputs from the workshop

·         Familiarity with community approach methodologies and tools, which is include contextual, condition and cultural barriers of community conditions

·         Prior experience working with and/or conducting manual writing for international NGOs or international institutions are advantageous (Writing samples may be requested)

·         Ability to plan and work independently and efficiently and to understand and analyze information quickly

·         Experience working with government health providers

·         Ability to deal with and effectively resolve unexpected issues

·         Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, especially in the field  Fluency in Bahasa

·         Indonesia and strong written and spoken English, would be an advantage
